    Didn't work for my LG TV... It says it's compatible, but it isn't.

      Hello MattP - This remote is compatible with LG TVs, but it does need to be programmed using the steps and codes in the manual. If the first code doesn’t work, trying the additional LG codes or using the automatic code search usually solves it. LG is one of the most widely supported brands on this remote.

    The remote is excellent. It is all purpose and I have used it for my vcr, dvd and television. As you can see, I have some old fashioned in me. It was easy to program. One problem, I dropped it. Now it is not working.

    While I can access many features on my Samsung TV, it is not intuitive which buttons perform which function.

    Great remote for the price. Worked well, it just turns out the TV was the actual problem and not the original remote. I recommend it though.

    I tired few other remotes and the TV I have is not 4k but a Roku TV it's about 4 years old and to this one worked perfectly.
