We lost the remote that came with TV purchase several years ago. Needed a new remote transitioning from cable. This one was simple and matched what we were used to using; set up was pretty simple using code provided for our TV. RCA makes good products.

Picked up a remote for one of our TV's that the remote was lost. It took only a few minutes to program it to the correct TV brand and my daughter had a working remote.

As my DVD player remote stopped working, I purchased this universal remote from RCA, where I connected my TV and DVD player. The setup took just couple of minutes, as there is code manual that came along with the remote. Its operation is so easy, even my 5th grader knows how to operate multiple devices with this remote. It's really economical and worth having it.

My son had replaced his dog chewed remote with another brand which worked fine for Netflix. When we attached an external antenna to the older Phillips TV, the buttons needed to scan for TV channels did not work, even with new batteries. I went to the local Best Buy store and this remote was recommended by the associate. Good price and it worked. Was able to watch the Superbowl!

I had an old tiny tv that was missing a remote, so I picked this up on sale and was pleased with how well it worked. I even set it up to work with my 3rd gen Apple TV. In my past experience, I've found most remotes are a little confusing to set up, but as long as you read the directions carefully it's not that hard.

Used this to replace my broken remote for my Toshiba 32" TV and also was able to get rid of of my Comcast digital adapter remote too! Simple to set up and worked after trying a few of the included codes in the instructions. The codes are listed in order of Most to least recommended, as my TV was a little older it took a few tries but I landed on the right one. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Works great.

Remote works pretty well, especially across any televisiom you are using. It is a great universal remote, but make sure the batteries you have work with it!
