original product remote worn-out from too much channel surfing; channel up / down stopped working. purchased this remote for that function. fortunately it recognized my Panasonic plasma tv, and I can channel surf again

Honestly, I was surprised at how much low quality inventory was out there for a simply universal remote. This item really hit the mark; simple, effective, functional. RCA still chugging along.

If you don't have an elaborate home theater, this remote is a great solution for simplifying control of your entertainment system. TV, cable DVR, and BluRay player can be easily programmed with a code system that is surprisingly accurate considering this device's low cost. I was able to use a 4K disc player whose remote had been lost. Enjoy, and happy viewing :)

The universal remote works okay, but doesn't have all the functionality as the original remotes.

This remote was easy to program, is lightweight and is priced well. I would purchase it again.

I bought this to replace an Insignia universal remote that was dropped too many times to count. They didn't have an exact replacement, so I decided to try this one. It synced great with my Insignia Smart TV and Sony disc player. Scrolling through options is easy and the backlight is a nice feature. It's too early to tell how well it handles multiple drops on a hard floor.

Took a bit of time to figure out how to program as the TCL codes included, which I tried first assuming they would be good, did not work for my TV. I eventually did the scan and it worked, so no harm. 1 star off because, like most remotes, the battery cover is garbage and broke almost immediately,

I bought this universal remote because mine stopped working. I was looking for a universal remote that would not be complicated and easy to use. this remote is easy to understand , and fits in hand well. would buy again.

I have a habit of losing remotes. Especially the little ones like for Rokus. This remote helped solve that problem in two ways... 1) I can program this remote to devices with lost remotes. 2) It is large enough that it is definitely harder to lose. Works with all of my devices and was super easy to setup (I didn't even have to go into the daunting pages of codes to get it to work!)

This remote is great! The set-up was very easy & fast! I like the size and the light on it!

Simple setup, we didn't need anything complicated! Just needed power, volume, getting to TV settings, menu, return. We have FireStick for a streaming service and the arrow buttons worked! We didn't have to configure anything, it just worked after we setup The remote for the TV! So we didn't need to use a separate remote for the FireStick!

Works well with Vizio tv I purchased it for. Functional and I like that it is a larger remote due to my kids always losing the little ones that come with tvs these days.

Picked this up as a replacement for my daughter’s TV. She’s got a Roku and a BluRay player as well, so this was a perfect choice for her. Easy to program and use; it can even light up some of the buttons so it’s easier to see in the dark. Not a top pick for our living room or theatre setups, but perfect for a simple bedroom setup!
