And two stars for being able to pair and change the volum but this remote has its glitches. If you can get the brand name remote for your tv, i recommend getting that one

Not great with LG TVs. Does not seem to unlock a lot of my smart TV's functionality. It is backlit, but only the center dial, so you are still having to scramble to find other buttons in the dark.

Lost my remote to an old tv. I used this and it was easy to set up. I use it for an Insignia tv from like 2011.

Our old remote finally quit working. We were very happy to be able to find the same brand (although an updated model) at Best Buy. The best part of the purchase was the employees. I walked in and the greeter asked what I needed, so I showed him my old remote. He pointed to the area where I would find them and told me where to go then added that he would have someone meet me there. Voila, a person walked up to me before I arrived and assisted me. The whole trip took about 3 minutes. Great!

I wish it would have connected quickly, but once the right code was found it worked great!

My remotes keep disappearing, so we got this and it does the job, a bit bulky, but it works woth our Samsung TV.
