This is a universal remote, so it must be programmed to your TV/device before it will control anything—sometimes it can seem like it “isn’t working” when it simply hasn’t been set up yet. We recommend installing fresh name-brand alkaline batteries, confirming the polarity (+/–), then following the included programming steps (code entry or auto-search) for your TV brand.

It controls my cable box too

I can change inputs do picture in picture everything that I couldn’t do it without a master controller
