Very frustrated. I decided to order a new DirecTV remote which also has more functionality. Programming was seamless. Returning the RCA remote.

Almost universal

It will not pick up my sound bar no matter how much i try. You can do 3 devices as long as they are a TV, Streaming or SAT box and a DVR or PVR. It tries to be too smart and you can't even get 2 tvs to work without hiccups. If you are trying to use those 3 types of devices it may be ok for you, otherwise, get something else.

Posted .Thanks for the feedback, Marvin. Sorry to hear setup was frustrating. With Samsung TVs especially, it's important to try all available codes listed in the manual, since each may activate different sets of functions. If some buttons didn’t respond, trying a different code can often solve that.

Great Remote but....

Doesn’t work most of the time

Would not program DVD player

Two of us tried to follow directions for programming but couldn't get it to work with Samsung unit. Frustrating! finally returned it and upgraded to Insignia Universal Remote for $10 more. Insignia remote was pre-programmed with Insignia codes so only had to add DVD player and that was easy enough

Posted .Hello Charan - Our remotes are made to work with most of the major television brands. Unfortunately we cannot always guarantee a specific brand or model. You can search for the correct code by using the Auto Code Search function. Auto Code Search goes automatically through all the codes for the device you’re trying to control while you are programming your antenna to the TV's in your house. There are instructions on how to set up your remote included in the packaging.

Difficult to use
