When i tried to return it best buy would not give me my money bsck because it had been 17 days, which is past the 14 day return period Dont buy this remote and dont shop at Bsst Buy

Posted .Hi user198508, sorry to hear it didn’t work with your Samsung TV. Universal remotes must be programmed to the TV before they will control it, and if that step is missed it can seem like the remote isn’t working. Even though the remote is new and includes batteries, please press the TV device button and program the remote using the Samsung TV codes from the included code list or by using the auto code search feature. After programming, test power, volume, and navigation/OK.

RCA Universal remote

We only needed to re-enter the TV code into the old remote and used the code list that came with new remote to reprogram it. Kept the remote anyway just in case the old one breaks, but haven't used it.

Open/Close Missing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only one feature missing. This remote turns on/off the BLU ray player, but does not open the disc tray. A few DVDs don't load correctly, and must be ejected and re-inserted in order to play. Outside of this, the RCA is a good universal remote.

However, I intended to use for my sony TV, apple TV, and samsung cable box. Everything worked, however the center button for the apple TV does not work at all. I tried repairing it and still no luck.
