Hard to set up!

doesn't work for LG smart tvs, disappointed

I can't get to any of my streaming items, the internet, & ect. I'm disappointed that this control will not work for me.

Posted .Hello Krmievans - The remote is designed to work with LG televisions as well as many other major brands. Glad to read that it did work with many of the regular feature of the TV. Have you tried other LG codes if there were any available? You can visit our Remote Control Support page at https://www.rca.com/us_en/remote-control-support-904-us-en
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee all functions will function as they would with a factory remote control.

No menu functions accessible

Could only get the TV to turn on, mute, and change input. The PIP function would not work. The menu did not work. It gave me one code for my TV brand and searching for a code that would operate the functions was long and tedious and still did not produce a different result I looked for customer support on this and couldn't even find the model number through RCA website. Could not find a customer support number either. I have always liked RCA products in the past but this was a disappointment! I will be returning it in the morning and buying a different brand.

Doesn't Last

Posted .Hello - Our remotes are made to work with multiple brands. Unfortunately we cannot always guarantee a specific model. If you tried your TV brands specific codes and they did not work, you can search for the correct code by using the Auto Code Search function. Auto Code Search goes automatically through all the codes for the device you’re trying to control.

Posted .Hello Sean - There are multiple codes stored within the universal remote for Samsung brand TV's and the remote does not come specifically programmed for Samsung TV's. You will have to go through the programming process in order to have the remote control your Samsung TV.
