Average remote, but serves it's purpose

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When we saw that the ad said "backlit," we took it for granted that it meant all the keys were backlit, but that's not the case. It's only for the OK key. We were not able to program the other buttons effectively. The feel of the casing and the buttons are not the most comfortable, plus small, but it serves it's purpose as we wanted remote with number buttons.

Juat what i needed

I couldn't find any Samsung replacement, didn't even know what TV model I have or moreso what replacement remote control was compatible. I decided to try this RCA remote since it had programming ability, although I was hesitant having to tinker with the new remote. I was pleasantly surprised to find the RCA remote worked right out of the box (after batteries) and is completely compatible with my old Samsung TV.

I purchased this model and it worked well. I did have some trouble understanding the instructions, but I did it and it works really well.

We bought this remote and to our surprise it worked on our tv right out the package.

This remote works well with my TV, ROKU & XBOX 360
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While you have to switch between function sets it all worked for me with my Toshiba LCD television, Roku 3, and surprisingly lets me view my DVD collection easily on my XBOX 360! It was far cheaper than any of the alternatives and I'm pretty happy with it overall!

Good replacement for TCL TV remote

Wish I had not purchased the TCL. Most features control the TV, but others don't.

The remote works great and I had no problems getting it to program with the TV itself. The only issue is that the buttons do lag a bit, as in you can't rapidly press buttons on there (like typing in channel numbers), but instead have to press it slowly for the buttons to respond. But that is a small compliant and one of little issue where it's nonexistent for me.
