I purchased this model and it worked well. I did have some trouble understanding the instructions, but I did it and it works really well.

Great Retro Remote!

Had to enter in the code first in the manual before it would work. Make sure to keep the manual as you can pair it with amany other TVs!

For a cheap remote works great.

Pretty good for the price though. I also bought an Insignia remote for a few dollars more, and it is a little bit more polished, but functionality is about the same.

The Best Buy employee recommended The RCA. I was concerned that one type of remote would replace 2 different brands. The set up was easy and I was using remotes to operate their different brand TVs. I was able to use a code that made each remote work for the TV that the code was for. I'm back in "business."

I had gone without a working remote from Feb to August because Dish told me I had to have THEIR remote, only they didn't have any in stock. My friend check it out online and said, we're going to Best Buy to get you an Universal Remote, it will work. I finally got her son here to program it.

RCA Universal Remote -- Good Buy

Easy to program and while it's a lower end remote on the cost structure, it's a great purchase for casual users.
