Lost remote for guest room tv. this universal remote works great

After over 7 years, my Samsung TV remote quit working! I couldn't find any Samsung replacement, didn't even know what TV model I have or moreso what replacement remote control was compatible. I decided to try this RCA remote since it had programming ability, although I was hesitant having to tinker with the new remote. I was pleasantly surprised to find the RCA remote worked right out of the box (after batteries) and is completely compatible with my old Samsung TV.

While you have to switch between function sets it all worked for me with my Toshiba LCD television, Roku 3, and surprisingly lets me view my DVD collection easily on my XBOX 360! It was far cheaper than any of the alternatives and I'm pretty happy with it overall!

I used this remote with my Zenith TV after the TV remote had broken. The remote works great and I had no problems getting it to program with the TV itself. The only issue is that the buttons do lag a bit, as in you can't rapidly press buttons on there (like typing in channel numbers), but instead have to press it slowly for the buttons to respond. But that is a small compliant and one of little issue where it's nonexistent for me.

We purchased this RCA Universal Remote some time ago but guess it still works and very well, im so glad i was as able to find it because the remote that came with my TV was crap..This one was a good purchase for sure, We still have it and we are definitely using it often, Daily i might add great remote control i do say

Got this to replace a lost remote. Works fine, but one time when I changed my batteries, I had to reprogram it. I had thrown the directions away, but found them online. Works for what we need it for.

I had to get help to program it but is working great. I had gone without a working remote from Feb to August because Dish told me I had to have THEIR remote, only they didn't have any in stock. My friend check it out online and said, we're going to Best Buy to get you an Universal Remote, it will work. I finally got her son here to program it.

I had 2 remotes that just weren't working right. They were both different brands. The Best Buy employee recommended The RCA. I was concerned that one type of remote would replace 2 different brands. The set up was easy and I was using remotes to operate their different brand TVs. I was able to use a code that made each remote work for the TV that the code was for. I'm back in "business."
