I put the battery in it, pointed to the TV and pushed the battery into it, pointed to the TV and pushed the power button. It controlled everything the first time. I am not a geek, but I could the the setup.

It was nice to walkin to Best Buy and get what I needed to make my ROKU TV work again, thanks RCA

I bought an old CRT off craigslist without a remote, decided to try this as a replacement. Works perfectly! can turn on and off, change channel and volume, and access all the menu items.

Good remote. Was inexpensive and had overall really good reviews. Worked great with our older Panasonic Plasma TV and our ROKU 2. Didn’t stand up to the beating our youngest son put it through, though. The battery closure broke and had to be taped back early on and it finally stopped working today. It lasted 2 years 3 months total. Just went out and purchased another one.

original remote for tv did'nt work. bought this to try out. set up was easy and been working fine for garage tv. would recommend this remote if yours is not working or lost.

This universal remote has been great. It was very easy to program and works very well. I would recommend this remote.

Works even better than the remote I had to replace that came with the TV. Only downfall is that the center backlight is a waste of time and not useful. It only stays lit a very short time and does not illuminate enough of the remote to be of any use at all.
