I had some trouble setting up the RCA universal controller on a very old TV. The helpline was able to walk me through the procedure very quickly.

Since I bought it to control a DVD player, I was surprised that it did not have a button to open or close the tray for discs??? If there really is one it must be one of those things that folks say should be intuitive!!!

Fairly easy set up. Larger buttons make it easier to use in a dimmed room, and if that's not enough, it's back lit. Things up on this purchase

We specifically bought this remote to use in a Roku TV, and it didn’t work. The remote that comes with the TV is a Roku remote, so there are no numbers. The functions just wouldn’t work on our cable app, so we returned it.

This product claims to work with hundreds of devices. However, it does not have the proper buttons to link all of my Toshiba Smart TV's features. For example, to watch Netflix and other streaming channels, I push a button on the Toshiba remote called "Smart Hub." This remote has no button on it that brings up the Smart Hub. Therefore I can't use it with my smart TV. I'm also pretty sure it wouldn't work with a cable or satellite set top box. It is just too simple. Finally, not all of the buttons light up, so you still have to turn on a light to see the labels for the buttons in the middle.

I wanted a light up remote, i dont know if this is the best one out there. But it works like it should, just wish it was brighter. It does work with my Direct tv, just a few more steps to watch DVR

I only use it for my tv it works great i now have PIP (picture in picture) original remote did not good replacement remote

I thought this was a smart remote for some reason, where you could select an activity and the remote would change inputs and power on all necessary devices, but it's just a replacement remote.

Too many steps to use with ease. Disappointed my not being able to operate it with ease. Would have returned it if I didn't throw away packaging.

I bought this affordable remote to control a TV and sound bar I bought for my travel trailer. It works like a charm.

This claims to be a 4 device universal remote. Unfortunately, it only controls 2 of mine. Despite claiming to control streaming sticks, it doesn't work with a Roku stick because it doesn't have Bluetooth capability. Also, despite getting additional codes from the Customer Support desk that didn't work, it won't control a Sanyo combination DVD/VCR player. As a result, it does only half of what I bought it for. Not worth the effort and aggravation to return for refund or exchange. I question why BestBuy wastes store space with this product.

My parents needed a easy to use remote & this was great..also has bigger buttons for them to see.

I had to return it. I tried all the codes but it only either powered on the tv or just control the volume, but didnt do it all together.

Its not bad, but it was not exactly what I was looking for. If you need a universal remote and can only spend about $20 on it, this might do the trick for you.

Easy to use when in need of a remote for a tv. Easy to set up.

Our new tv had only up/down channel changer, no numbers. This remote has been just what we needed.
