IT'S STILL WORKING!

Confusing set up

The idea of a remote is convenience (or laziness) ...well in order to use this remote at all you have to be standing directly in front of the TV. Any more than 3 ft away and it does not work..

Haven't been able to successfully program ANYTHING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As a former technology trainer by profession, I cannot believe how ridiculous this universal remote is to attempt to program for use. We have a new Sharp 4K TV and an LG soundbar. After spending over 2 hours over 2 days trying to get this dang thing to program properly, using several of the various input methods, we've given up. We've had universal remotes in the past and have programmed without issue. An associate at our local best buy simply grabbed this one for us in store to go with our new TV and soundbar (that we purchased without a remote). Completely worthless to us. We've been able to figure out how to use the TV remote for our Sharp to adjust the volume on the soundbar now. This remote was worthless to us. Waste of money. And I'm not one to give bad reviews, but holy moly.... absolutely unacceptable that this is so hard to program. It blinks as it should and then does NOTHING. No matter which buttons we pushed according to the instructions.
