I was told this should control my Sony stereo but it would not. I should have payed a little more and purchased a better unit. This would probably work fine on a majority of newer systems but mine was quite old.

I have tried everything and can not get it to work on my TV. Is it the remote or my TV? Don't know just know it won't work. I have a Crosby TV

I ended taking this product back to the store. It wouldn't do some functions it said on its outside wrap package.

I originally purchased RCA universal remote and it wouldn't work so I had to find a different brand

Bose listed on packaging Went to bose store afterwards they said bose products dont always do well with universal remotes. Note the bose universal remote didnt work either had to get one ordered from serial number for bose cinemate

I tried over 35 times to make it work.Everytime i thought i had it working i found it would not work. I had a friend who is quite good with things like this he could not make it work

I couldn't get it to work with my smart TV and some of my other components. So I got frustrated and took it back. Got a different one and jury is still out on that one.

I tried for three hours to get the code search to work and it never did. i called tech support and they were not available sat. or sun.

It broke 2 days after my purchase, I had already thrown away the packaging and receipt. It was a waste of money.

bought it for my very elderly Mother. worked about a month then wouldn't turn TV on/off. don't waste your money.

I reprogrammed this 3 times and every time only some of the buttons worked. I ended up havin to return it. Not worth it!!

Tried to set this up with two Sharp TV's and it would not work. Will be returning the product!

The tv that I have is an older model Sony and would not work.

Does not work for firebrand. No codes for the brand.

Better than any other universal remote that I have used for a low price.

I bought this to try and help consolidate my Mother's 3 remotes and make life easier for her. Unfortunately out of her three devices, it wouldn't control one of them and I took it back for that reason. But just becuase this remote didn't controll all of my mother's devices, doesn't mean it wont control yours. For 15 dollars it was worth trying and if it does control all your devices, it's nice affordable solution. What I liked about this remote is that every function is clearly marked and easy to read with big button (which is good for an elderly person)

This is a simple remote to use. It is easily programmed, as described in the User Manual. The keys light nicely in a darkened room. I only have one complaint about using the remote. I can be difficult sometimes to type in an e-mail address or password onto my television. These are the keys which scroll to the left or right, in the center of the remote. It is however a nice universal remote to complement my television and streaming device.

Purchased new 1/26/16. Does not support "INFO" mode on the Sharp model mentioned above. Did the Direct Code Entry, Brand Code Search, Auto Code Search and Manual Code Search programming methods all to no avail. Do like the large backlit keys though. Will keep it but will have to use the OEM remote to get "Info" on the program we might be watching. Would recommend to a friend but caution about "INFO" mode.
