Questionable Range

The build quality of the antenna, and the quality of broadcast is high, it was advertised to me with a 45 mile range and I did not get anywhere near that much range our fox affiliate is 30 miles from my house, and I was unable to get that channel.

Great for the price

I have a different antenna in a separate room which pick ups more channel, but for the price this antenna works great.

RCA to the rescue

We would constantly have to move the thing around to try and get the best reception. I plugged the RCA one in and it was an instant improvement. No more moving around. Just set it and forget it.

Not a single channel worked

Had to return it. Could be that we just so happen to be in a dead spot…and it may have different results for others, but buyer beware. This model was recommended by the sales representative as one of the “best”.

Posted .JasonD, if a channel scan wasn’t performed on any of the TVs you tried, you wouldn’t receive any channels, regardless of your location. Each time you move or set up a new antenna, a channel scan is required for the TV to detect available stations. Reception can also be affected by building materials, interference, and terrain, even in suburban areas. RCA amplified TV antenna

Hooked it up to my Sony TV to get local stations because Direct TV was having issues with FOX. Not only did I get all the local stations but it scanned in 160 channels. Worked so great that I bought 2 more.
