A Good Tool To Reduce Your Cable Bill to Zero

(We bought a second one for another television in the house.) It has standard "rabbit ears" but works well hidden behind the television. We live in a city, so we can't speak to how well it pulls in a signal in a rural area.

Beats paying for cable and for other things we can stream what we what to watch that we can’t get on our local channels. Use it everyday.

Which it has, however using an antenna to pick up local stations has not been a good experience. ABC has been very in and out constantly. NBC and CBS is more consistent with other channels that it picks up. Even with that I am not ready to go back and pay streaming prices with the cable company. YET!!

Poor RCA

The first thing that came to my mind was RCA was the best brand back then and should still be but unfortunately it is not.

Posted .FLFridge, we’re sorry to hear the antenna did not perform as expected. Reception can vary quite a bit based on your exact location, distance from the broadcast towers, terrain, nearby buildings or trees, and even materials inside the home such as metal roofing, siding, or Low-E windows that can weaken incoming signals. Antenna placement also matters greatly, so positioning it as high as possible, near a window, fully uncoiling the cable, and performing a fresh channel scan through the TV after each adjustment can all make a difference—but no brand of an antenna will receive a signal that is not present at the location where it is being used. Works!! even in the middle of nowhere!!

Other antennas do not work at all. THIS ONE gets 15 digital channels!! There are two telescoping antennas that stick out and can be rotated around and adjusted – and that really helps pull in the channels.

Good antenna when no cable TV Reception

Gets enough channels. We also take it with us with a smaller TV outside to bring in channels when we are at a park, etc. and hook it up to a portable power source.
