The build quality of the antenna, and the quality of broadcast is high, it was advertised to me with a 45 mile range and I did not get anywhere near that much range our fox affiliate is 30 miles from my house, and I was unable to get that channel.

RCA to the rescue

We would constantly have to move the thing around to try and get the best reception. I plugged the RCA one in and it was an instant improvement. No more moving around. Just set it and forget it.

I have a different antenna in a separate room which pick ups more channel, but for the price this antenna works great.

Hooked it up to my Sony TV to get local stations because Direct TV was having issues with FOX. Not only did I get all the local stations but it scanned in 160 channels. Worked so great that I bought 2 more.

This antenna is the third one I have tried to get local channels and I REALLY wanted it to work. Not only did I not get the Fox and CBS stations near me that I have been unable to get with ANY antenna, but I also couldn't get most of the channels I get with my Clearstream. When I took it out of the box, the first thing I noticed is that it feels very cheap- It feels like it's hollow plastic. You don't see it in the pictures but it relies on old-fashioned rabbit ears that you must extend to receive stations. I used their app to locate local antennas in my area (although I already knew through a general app that does the same thing). I used their app because I wanted to be true to the process. They provide a short coaxial cable but I used the one I already had from another antenna since it gave me more options of locations to try. This does not wall mount so you must have a surface to place it on. That limited my options right off the bat. The unit must also be plugged in which further limited my locations. Other antennae I have tried require a power source but that can be located near the TV with the unit itself not tethered to a plug. I tried the two surfaces I have near plugs- One up high near the TV and the other on a table that is closer to the window (two suggestions they have to improve reception). I was only able to get a max of 9 channels. I was very disappointed because I really wanted this to get the channels I can currently get and hopefully add the elusive channels that I should be able to receive based on their proximity. I reconnected my wall mount ClearStream and have included a picture showing the number of channels I am able to get with that antenna. It is about double the price of the RCA but worth it in my book.
