Cable got too costly, thought streaming would help financially. Which it has, however using an antenna to pick up local stations has not been a good experience. ABC has been very in and out constantly. NBC and CBS is more consistent with other channels that it picks up. Even with that I am not ready to go back and pay streaming prices with the cable company. YET!!

We live in the middle of nowhere in Montana, probably 100 miles or so from the nearest tower. Other antennas do not work at all. THIS ONE gets 15 digital channels!! There are two telescoping antennas that stick out and can be rotated around and adjusted – and that really helps pull in the channels.

Good Antenna to connect to the guest bedroom TV where we do not have cable. Gets enough channels. We also take it with us with a smaller TV outside to bring in channels when we are at a park, etc. and hook it up to a portable power source.

Bought this hoping that it would help me get local broadcast channels, but it did nothing for me. I was disappointed when I tried using it, and even when it was positioned correctly according to the directions/app, it never picked up anything.

      Posted .

Mark — If the TV never picked up anything, it’s often because a Channel Scan / Auto Program wasn’t completed after installation. This step is required and your tv will not display any channels unless it is performed. Some locations unfortunately do have very limited over-the-air signal strength indoors; the quickest way to confirm tower distance/direction is https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

      Posted .

Hello Susan - If you weren’t able to receive the channels you were expecting, that usually indicates the broadcast signal inside your home is limited or better placement of the antenna is needed rather than an issue with the antenna itself. Indoor signal strength can vary a lot based on how far you are from local broadcast towers, the materials in your walls, and nearby obstructions like trees or buildings. For the best results, try placing the antenna high up on a wall or near a window that faces the direction of your broadcast towers, and make sure the antenna cable is fully uncoiled to avoid signal loss. Each time the antenna is moved or repositioned, be sure to run a new channel scan through your TV so it can detect the available stations. You can check the expected signal strength for your exact location here: https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps
