Check the range for an indoor antenna

It promised a 45 mile range, yet I was only able to pick up the local ABC affiliate and some other channels, no NBC, CBS or FOX, all of which are at or near that 45 mile range. I even put it across the room close to a window, though that didn't help. I'm confident that if I were in a bigger city and closer it would work as advertised, though in my current home, it simply doesn't do the job.

Posted .Hello Joebiwan - The signal strength at your specific location is one of the major factors on whether an antenna can receive a signal. Unfortunately, there are some locations where it is difficult to secure a watchable signal on all channels in the area. Other factors include things like the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the broadcast towers and even materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal indoors. If you can place your antenna high up, near a window, facing the direction of your local broadcast towers you may have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna.

Best Buy Experience

Also recently purchased Sony Wi-Fi speaker. Both top of the line items. Received great staff service and will recommend Best Buy to anyone. My wife purchased a new Samsung and is happy. I’ve been a long time member and would recommend Best Buy and it’s Wide range of products and great staff to my circle of friends as long as they continue to stay on the road they are on.

Tv antenna
