It is hard to find a decent indoor antenna. This one good, but it does work real well in an older home.

    NO Regular Channels Please

The items seem to work but the Channels like 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, or 11 don't work. Totally unhappy about this item. If you watch commercials on cable, why pay again for an antenna that pushes you to subscription-based views only?

      Posted .

Hello ArleneW - The signal strength from your local broadcast towers, at your exact location, is the single most important factor on whether any antenna can receive a signal. No antenna will receive a signal that isn't there. There are some locations where it is difficult to secure a watchable signal due to a lack of strong signals in the area and other factors in the surrounding environment that can potentially (negatively) affect those signals. Some of those other factors include things such as the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the local broadcast towers and even the materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal strength indoors. Typically, if you can place your antenna high up, near a window that faces the direction of your local broadcast towers, you will likely have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna. If you did not rescan for channels after relocating the antenna, any new and expected changes in channels/reception would not be accurate and would likely be much worse. If you can send us an email at RCAAntennaHelp@voxxintl.com we would be glad to assist you in determining which antenna would be best for your location.

Works like any flat antenna would. You do have to rescan if you move it if you want it to keep the location in its placement history

Surprisingly good for the price. My bedroom TV would lose WIFI signal at night from time to time. I couldn't use the TV, because I had no antenna. I bought this one and I got about 15 channels. I recommend it highly if you lose signal or don't have cable, satellite, or WIFI.

Boght this after cutting the cord. Would not work with a Toshiba TV we had that should have been able to pick up signals. Moved it to a Samsung TV in an adjoining room so there was an extra wall for signal to go thru and it worked ok for a while. The main issue for us was we were near the edge of the receiving envelope for this antenna. It did work for a while, then it just stopped receiving signals.
