has good reception on local strong signals. The area I used this has only one local transmitter so I receive just one channel, but very clearly. Other transmitters are 50 miles or more away and not able to receive signal. If you need this and live in a strong metro area, it should work great.

Needed an antennae for our small tv and we have no cable. We bought this one before and we're pretty pleased with it. We still have signal issues sometimes, but have not found a better product for the price. We recommend it

This antenna is relatively inexpensive and does a great job of pulling in broadcasts. I live way in the country and an able to get many high definition channels. After testing the unit, I placed it in my basement near my exercise equipment (one less reason to not use the equipment). Even with thick concrete walls and away from any windows, I was able to pull in the major local networks. I like that it has a base to stand on and does not need to be mounted on a wall. I would highly recommend this unit.

This antenna connects to your TV with a coaxial cable. It will allow your TV to receive broadcast signals that are fairly strong in your area. The 35 mile rating is good if there are no drastic elevation changes or tall buildings between you and the signal source.

finally an antenna where i get cbs here in chicago. instead of the third times the charm it took 6 before finally finding one that receives cbs here in chicago. wasnt looking to spend 100.00 on an antenna which im guessing is why it took so long to find the one that would work for me

Price was right. Just needed some basic channels. Doesn't pick up as many as I had hoped. Some of the stations are a ways away and it's hilly here. I get all the major networks without having to pay for cable. Since we don't watch much TV, that's all we need.

I was able to pick up all channels in my area, but not at the same time. If I wanted local channels I had to reposition the antenna another way. At first it was a pain, but I got used to it and knew exactly where to place it for a particular set of channels.

No more jumping up to move the antenna when changing channels. Paper shredder in next room no longer causes to lose channel when in use. Airplanes flying overhead no longer freeze picture - sometimes interference causes one or two pixels to freeze for a few seconds. Get more channels with amplified antenna. Highly recommend.

Nice item. For an indoor amplified unit, it isn't bad. I live in a townhouse and didn't want anything exposed outside so I was able to place this close to a window and it isn't an eyesore and gets decent reception. Decent price when bought in combo with Chromecast in a bundle.

This little antenna works pretty decent. Picks up most of the stations and saves me from those ridiculous rental fees for the boxes to watch cable or satellite.

I bought this antenna to back-up my Direct TV system in case of a storm or satellite outage. It works great and I get several stations that I don't get with Direct. Easy to hook up and operate. Well worth the money.

Improved my reception, both in picture quality and number of channels. I now get channels I never received before and am watching some shows that I never heard of before. Great buy at Best buy.

I have had this antenna for a few months now and I haven't had any problems. Works great, gets good reception and its a great price! Would definitely recommend if you want to spend less money for a nice product!

Store employee recommended this item as a low cost but effective antenna for my needs. I just had to plug it into the antenna plug on my TV and into the powe outage.

This antenna was a very good price. We use to have one that cost double & we couldn't hardly get any channels. With this antenna we get at least 8-10(non-duplicate) more channels than before

My girlfriend and I got rid of cable to save money. We still wanted to watch the free channels and most importantly the NFL playoffs. Found the right spot relatively quickly. Not nearly as bad as the olden days when I had to hold the rabbit ears for my parents.

I had to move it closer to the window in order for it to work better and pick up more channels. I use netflix for the majority of my television watching but this is a great supplement so that I can get football games and network television shows that are current.

When Direct TV was in a dispute with CBS, we lost NFL football games in Sunday. Bought this antenna to save the day. Easy to hook up, picture was great and in HD, and didn't miss my game!

I'm new to this digital antennae thing, so I'm not completely sure I understand how they're supposed to work and/or the difference between the different models. This one worked fine upon first use without me necessarily working to adjust it or position it to the best location to get the maximum reception. If it only gets me the few channels that I got without proper adjustment then it'll be well worth the price for the intended purpose. I do like the design of this one since it can sit on top of a stand or other surface. To me this is more practical than the flat ones that get put on a window or wall or other surface. The house which we had just bought had been renovated and ALL of the coaxial cable had been removed, requiring us to hire an electrician to "fish" cable in a 2 story house. Until we could get the electrician scheduled, we decided to try "over the air" digital television to get us by. We bought one antenna on ebay and connected it to one of our flat screen TV's and it worked perfectly - picked up 10 channels. It helps to have an NTSC tuner built-in. We bought our second antenna at Best Buy; same brand and again, it worked perfectly until our electrician could wire the house and the cable company could complete the installation - about 10 days. Not perfect, but a goo, inexpensive solution to get us by.
