I got rid of cable and bought this. The picture that I have with this is better than the one I had with cable.

Was recommended this by an employee. It worked great at first but awful any time it seemed like the weather might be bad (I understand signals get fuzzy due to weather but this would occur well before anything even showed up on the radar).

If you leave this antenna in one position it will only get a few stations. When trying to tune a station, the antenna would be largely useless if my TV did not have a signal strength indicator. Since it takes a couple of seconds to tune in the digital signals, you'd keep moving the antenna thinking it wasn't working. With the TV indicator, I just move it until the signal strength is good and then wait for the station to tune in. Bottom line: it works but i's a pain. On the other hand, it's not particularly worse than the other two types I've tried.

Works great in the Twin Cities south metro area. You need to have the actual rabbit ears to get channels 11 & 9. I have tried other antennas and they were not able to get all of the channels like this one was. Still a bit touchy on where it has to be to get channels but I am probably at the max range.

HD antennae are hit and miss. For the most part, this one hits. Being the mountainous area of western North Carolina, I thought I wouldn't get much, but it does a decent job of getting all the network channels on a nice, clear, windless day. If it's not nice, not clear, or not windless, then the more distant channels come and go. For the money, it's a good gizmo.

I still have an analog TV in my kitchen with a converter box. It is a small 12" tv so not worth it to me to get yet another cable box. The reception when it works is quite sharp but it constantly breaks up making it difficult to consistently watch TV. I often have to move it around with is not fun. It was very easy to assemble. It is possible if the TV were in another location that it would work better but there is nowhere else to place it and I mainly watch the news while I make breakfast or dinner and also when I am making a meal for company.

When I upgraded to a flat TV in the bedroom I turned in my cable box and purchased this antenna. It did not cost an arm and a leg plus it works really well. You have to work with it to get it set "just right" to pick up the channels in your area but that only took a few days to figure out.

This antenna will help but it only helps for local stations. There are stations about 40-50 miles away that this antenna won't pick up.

I plugged it in and it worked. Reception is good for the few avaiable channels. Tv36 is in high def. CCTV is a chinese news station, but it is in English. Interesting perpective on international affairs. There are four PBS channels includung one for Kids. I bought two of these. It is worth it just for PBS. I get all my other shows on the internet. I HATE COMCAST!

Once I figured out that aluminum siding on the house was blocking the best reception, I moved it close to the window and it worked pretty good. On average, the house was located about 60 miles from the transmission towers. Pretty good reception. It would probably work better in the attic.
