I only paid $40 dollars for this antenna so I would say that it's worth it. My husband and I chose to no longer subscribe to or support cable/satellite T.V. Unfortunately we don't get all basic stations but that could have something to do with the location of the antenna. It does offer great picture quality so I am happy with it. We do plan to purchase a couple more of these exact antennas for other rooms.

Get the majority of the stations I had hoped for, but not the CBS affiliate. Has a tendency to start to lose reception during a broadcast. Better reception than the cheaper model and not willing to pay even more money for an antenna to try something that might be better.

Picked this up during the CBS blackout on TWC so I would not miss my shows. It was so easy to install and I was amazed at the number of channels it pick up with perfect reception (65+). I highly recommend this product. I also got it at a great price too, on sale for only $19.99.

I got rid of my cable and was looking for an affordable antenna. An associate at the store recommended this one, so I tried it. The reception was fine, but one of the rabbit ears broke as I was adjusting it.

Overall, it does pick up local channels. The negative is the antennae has to be directional as opposed to Omni-directional.

I was very pleased with the reception indoors in an apartment setting. It can be affected by someone walking around it but its momentary and the signal will return pending on the original signal strength. I would recommend this product over a standard powerless antenna. You need the amplification that comes from it being plugged into the wall.

The tv we had bought had to go into a subterranean building, where only the top third was exposed above-ground for signal. Needless to say, the signal connection failure was such that nothing would operate correctly. This little device remedied that handily once we hooked it up and elevated it to the top third of the room, and that was much easier and more practical than trying to stuff the tv way up there.

This unit picks up more local channels than I expected. Great for when you don't want to invest in something more costly.

I purchased two of these, one for the livingroom and one for the bedroom. I don't get the same stations on both, only a few, and the sound comes and goes on both. In addition, the picture freezes periodically.

I needed a digital antenna to hook up to our smart TV. This model was suggested because it was powered and the salesperson said that I would get better reception. After hooking it up, I was able to get great reception on almost all the channels that the TV found.

I got this amplified antenna hoping for a clearer signal than what I see from the similar non-amplified antenna that I got a few years ago for <$10. In addition to the hassle of having to run another power cord around the entertainment center, we couldn't see any improvements at all. No better image quality, no extra channels picked up, etc. It did nothing better than the cheaper non-amplified version. Even tried placing it up high in the attic and still no difference.

Works great in Florida where the land is flat; not so much in hilly Massachusetts.

The antenna does its job. It is very sensitive on any objects in the close proximity, e.g. every movement near the appliance can cause interference with the signal. I like the long cord attached to it.

It does everything as described. I only wish it didn't take up as much space. There are other amplified antennas on the market that have a smaller footprint and better aesthetics for the same price.
