Should have purchased a different brand.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna does not reach the specified mile range. I have a GE brand that notes less range but gets better quality and more channels. I purchased the RCA because it was the only one left at the time. I waited too late to return it now I am stuck with it. The GE brand its way better and picks up more channels. I would recommend this particular brand boasting 65 mile range if you do the signal range search first and you are less than 45 miles away from the channels you desire.

Antenna Does a Great Job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the "disk" doesn't swivel, the antenna do. There is a button that can be pushed to the right to turn on the amplified mode. I don't use the amplification all of the time, it depends on the weather. I only use it when necessary to keep the antenna from going out. I make sure to turn it off when I'm not watching TV.

Finally got ABC reception.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works for those who want ABC network reception. The rabbit ear part of the antenna receives VHF while the square part receives UHF signals. As far as HD quality is concerned, Antennas Direct HD antenna is better but it does not get VHF signals. The choice is yours to take.

Not What I Was Hoping For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the information on the box and what was told by the salesclerk, I should be able to pick up 5-7 channels. I can get only 1 all of the time and another from time to time. I was hoping to get rid of cable/dish and still get various "local" channels, but even with moving this device to various locations and rooms in the house, it just doesn't happen. I'm disappointed, but at least I get the most-local channel, so I'll settle for that for local news and weather only.

stations are limited
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It would be great if the signal would be strong for the stations when inside of an old building, 2 stations is all i receive I do know that if i was someplace else i would pick up at least 20 to 30 other stations. So this is a good device if you have a place to use it.

Just Average
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't able to get many channels where I live. I also have to adjust and move the antenna to get certain channels. I found out that by having cable internet they cannot block local channel and digital signals so I get better reception by plugging in cable than the antenna. The antenna works but I would just get cable internet and milk the local channels free rather than purchase an antenna.

Good for someone willing to move the antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this antenna to watch football games for a few weeks that I didn't have cable. It picked up 3 channels (FOX, ABC, CBS) well and another if I messed with the antenna. I was in an apartment complex at the time and I think that hindered the reception. Recommend looking up the broadcast signal strengths in your area before you buy. The digital reception was better quality then regular cable.

Made my granddaughter smile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My granddaughter moved to an apartment. Couldn't afford cable yet and thought there was no TV available. I bought the antenna and attached it to her TV. It amazed her that there were so many 'free' channels here in the DFW area. She was more than happy to use it.

no problems :)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to connect my computer to my smart Panasonic TV, as the TV cannot handle a terrabyte external hard drive. It has 2 plugins for 500 each, but I have three hard drives; one is 2 terrabytes, and the other two are one terrabyte each. My music, TV shows, movies and history are on the external hard drives

Great for small spaces
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these, and both are finding a lot more channels than I expected. It picks up stations from all directions without a problem. My preference would be to install a high-end powered antenna in the attic, but for the money, this can't be beat.
