On those occasions when the cable goes out, this is a pretty solid Band-Aid. Especially when weather is involved in the outage. It will pick up local HD channels as a bonus. The only draw back is that it really need to be near a window.

we needed an antenna for our 42 inch flatscreen tv and this worked perfect!!

Even without a direct view of open sky, this antenna picks up the main HD signals in my local area at no cost. The challenge is that minor weather variations can impact the signal and a channel may come in one day but not the next without changes to antenna angle or location. That being said, it provides a happy medium of reliable, basic network channels without the cost of cable.

I still have problems picking up all the network channels, and at certain times of the day the reception for the channels it did register is spotty

I bought this on sale. It got all our stations including the low powered ones without too much difficulty. I have had problems with my other ears picking up these stations. Inexpensive and easy to use.

With the "update" to the local cable network, I found that my digital DVD recorder was useless. We have local stations that broadcast over the air. I bought this antenna, plugged it in, set it next to the basement window (where my apartment is) & rescanned for channels. Done! Easy setup! Working great so far!

This antenna immediately picked up all the local channels even some that I did not know existed. I got this and a Tivo to enable me to cut the cable. I can use this for all the local channels that I wish to view and record and I got Netflix and Roku for all else. So far I am very happy with this combination.

Does't take up much room. Good reception when it gets it. Loses fairly easily.

I was really hoping this antenna would be able to pick up more channels than it does, it picks up some good channels but it is just an ok product

This is a very good indoor antenna that performs well. Moreover it is so affordable. But if someone has more money to spend, outdoor antennas are better.

The antenna is good to capture local channels including some news channels.

Bought the digital antenna to cover the CBS and Time Warner negotiations period. The antenna worked so well that I bought one for my son so he could watch the Cowboy pre-season games on channel 11.

Doesn't' bring in all the available channels unless the arena is moved to a different position. Just wish it was a little more user friendly!

Better than other units tested. Has good range, but at certain times of day, no signal is shown. Can get up to 72 channels without cable in evening.

Works for me just fine. Goes in and out sometimes but nothing unbearable.

Bought this because we were tired of spending so much on cable. This antenna does a great job of receiving stations and giving you a clear picture.

I bought this antenna for a Vizio tv i have on my kitchen and it works good i even got more channels than i used to with other antennas i would for sure buy another one and or recommend it.

This is a great valued antenna, comes w a power supply and gets a great picture. It picks up more channels than the non powered version. Would definitely recommend this antenna, esp if it is on sale

Great little TV antenna for indoors! Easy to set up and seems to get great reception. I think I've got 13 channels now without moving the "ears"! Sure beats the extreme costs of cable and satellite.
