Though, sometimes when the weather is really bad, I get the "distortion" pixels on some stations, not all-mainly channel 8-Fox. I live in a suburban area, so I knew I'd get good reception, just didn't know how many channels I'd receive. For the price it's a good choice & value.

Up or down it all appears to be the same. Appears to have more to do with where you position the antenna. In a room with no windows close, it does an adequate job of picking up the closer local channels but is not strong enough to pick up a few others.

Frequently, there is no signal or weak signal. I think this problem has to do with the moving of the antenna in New York that supports my area, and not related to this RCA HD antenna, itself.
