This was not the case. I still was not able to receive 2 of the major broadcast channels consistently. I understand this will vary by location, I am in a suburb approximately 30 miles from the city center.

Sure, I want to evolve with the times, and I admit that digital looks better. But I did not have the reception problems with analogue TV like I have now! I have many problems with my picture breaking up and getting those little squares that appear on my screen.

My mother has a ten dollar cheap Walmart antenna and she's yet to move it from its initial spot. This is junk!
