Waste of money regardless of price.

I thought that by hooking this up that she would be able to get the local stations in Houston. We installed it correctly, the power light was on but we were unable to receive a single tv channel. Total waste of time and money.

Thought that might be the case so hooked up on set upstairs. Still no luck. Little miffed since salesperson had said they had sold several of these and they hadn't been returned. When I took back the device, the manager said that this one doesn't usually work in our area and recommended a roof mount model.

Also, very light so when you move the ears of the antenna the whole unit moves around unless you clamp it down. Poor product and poor suggestion by the Best Buy employee for me to buy. I would not recommend.

This was rated for up to 60 miles away and I literally couldn't pick one channel up. I tried it in every direction, including putting it outside. Awful product. I'm working on taking it back.
