When the associate suggested that this was the antenna they sold the most of and have received the most positive feedback from I was a bit skeptical. I had an antenna in my hand that cost $69-79 bucks and was really willing to spend the cash due to the fact we live out in the country and only get over the air channels and have tried several other that looked similar to this one with dismal results. Reluctantly I thought I'd give this a try and boy am I glad I did! The reception this little jewel offers is suburb and the cost was much less than the "bigger" competitors! Get it you wont be disappointed!

    Not good half the time

I was very disappointed in this. The reception is seldom very good. It goes out all the time. It flickers. It goes black. There is lots of static. It does not work when it rains or at night. I live less than a mile from a TV station. I have tried everything. It is next to a large window. I will have to buy another product. This is not a cheap antenna. There is no real help with antennas or finding the right product. Do not buy this.

I purchased this only a few days ago for my HDTV, and have been able to get a few channels but these are channels that no one in the house watches. While the primary channels do not come in EXCEPT NBC. The others are impossible to pick up, so maybe I can pick up a few tips here to try different positions since I've tried multiple rooms!!!! Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this antenna to anyone.

I tried this antenna after recently ditching satellite service in hopes of receiving local news channels. I live 43 miles from Boston, this antenna is supposed to reach 60 miles. However, after experimenting with different placements in different rooms, I was only able to receive a maximum of 6 channels. 3 of which were in Spanish. None of the other 3 were even a local news channel. I live in a 3 bedroom ranch with vinyl siding, and on a main road. I'm returning this product, and may need to try an external antenna setup instead. It was super easy to setup, but I'm just really disappointed with the lack of ability to receive most local channels.

I office on the fourth floor of a downtown brick office building in Moline, Illinois. The HDTV I bought, with the little extendable chrome antenna, would only get the two channels of one station. The BB rep promised this super-powered amplified antenna would really pull in all the local HDTV signals, many more than the plain old single stick antenna. One word - NOPE.

I get over 15 channels, most in HD including CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, UPN. Awesome product that cost me 1/4 the price of one month of cable! My DirectTV is now history thanks to this product!

Recommended by the Best Buy TV dept. manager as alternative to the pricey outdoor digital antenna unit. Easy to setup but did not get all of the local channels. Returned immediately. Instead hooked up the HDTV to the original, old (analog) rooftop antenna for better channel reception.

We wanted a TV in a place where we don't have a cable drop, so this seemed like a great idea. Network HD over the air for free! Bottom line is that to really get good reception, you need a roof mounted system. We live fairly close to several HD transmitters, yet we have to fiddle with the antenna to get reliable reception. It is a compromise.

During the power outage this summer we hooked up a generator. Power was out to the cable company but we got network high-definition programming crystal clear with this antenna.

We don't watch too much television. Pretty much just to get the news. I didn't want to pay for cable just to watch the news and this antenna made it so I was able to receive these particular channels with crystal clear reception!

I have gone through around 4 different antennas, and this one has had the most consistant reception for where I live. I am using this on a Samsung HDTV tuner. You should know that you need a differnt type of antenna for different types of areas.

We had problems with an antenna dropping stations from our new TV. We already had 2 of these antennas, so we bought a third one for this particular TV. We haven't had any problems since we attached this antenna to the TV.

This was the third type of hdtv antenna I had purchased and was the lucky charm. I live approximately 30 miles from a tower and receive over 30 channels. Better than a $70 antenna I purchased and returned.

Not sure if it's the signal strength of the stations or my location but I am not able to get a very good picture on most channels. I get a lot of digital noise and distortion for many stations. The antennae are very long and kind of visually obtrusive.

I bought three of the cheapest non-amplified antennas and one of these. There was no advantage to this one. The cheaper one worked just as good...even surprisingly good. Took the amped one back for another unamped antenna.

I have not had any problems with my receiver/antenna. Brings in great picture quality and several channels as well. I would recommend; however, I do live in a big city which may help alot as well.
