We had to exchange a flat panel for this amplified one and we are now able to get all the channels we wanted. Awesome.

We placed this antenna in our window and it still does not get very good signal. We have tried it in other rooms and you have to hold the antenna high in the air before any channels will come in.

I really miss cable but because finances suck I had to cut back. Now, everytime I change the channel, I also have to change this stupid antenna's position. Sometimes it's by the TV, sometimes it's on the floor, sometimes in the window. So if you don't mind dealing with a similarly stupid situation, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, find something better--that's what I have to do now,

very easy to setup and install, but it only worked for one night. After that, I couldn't pick up a single channel no matter what I did. Returned to store after 5 days of fussing around.

from this thing with a red light. It is not worth the money. It does not work well at all. I lost my two favorite stations when I tried this antenna. I can guarantee that this does not amplify. My signal strength meter on the TV never changed when I turned this on and off. I tried it on all the channels I received. I think all the switch does is turn the red light on and off. I gave poor for durability because I believe it would break very easily when I throw it against the wall because of having to adjust it every time I change the channel.

This was the second best one in this line of products. The picture I get on the television seems to be the same if I bought a cheaper one

We've had good reception form most of the local HDTV stations in Richmond. It was purchased to receive the local news for Richmond.

This is a great product if you'd like to cancel your cable contract but still receive HD local channels. Can't beat the price.

Since we do not have cable, we rely on the local signal. We purchased this antenna hoping to improve the receptions on our hd tv for local channels. It was more expensive than our previous antena, so we thought it would work better, however it did not, and it didn't even work as well as the last one. We kept it anyway and are using it for another tv. Some reception is better than no reception. Can't always watch a program all the way through without losing the signal on some channels.

Amplifies signals to a very high level. Great option for picking up local broadcasts without monthly cost of cable or satellite.

No need to be tech savvy, but you do need to have another power cord, but well worth it to get more channel options.

Have an old (>7 years) Jasco Optima antenna, can get Channels 2,4,5,9,11,17,23,29,45, upstairs can get Channel 41 (41 miles away, others <25miles away). With this antenna only got Channels 2,4,5,9,11,23,29 with a poor quality, poorer strength, easily interfered by a human walking near by and the amplifier did not help at all. Save your money. I'll keep trying to find a better antenna so should you!

The reception on this antenna is good on cloudy days, and if it's clear, forget it....only a couple stations will come in. It is also affected by outside interferrence. I live on a rather busy road and when large trucks go by, i LOSE my signal!!! It was a waste of 40$!!!!!

I have to admit this may be due to where I live, but I highly doubt ann arbor can't get signal. I wasn't impressed at all and returned it. Buy something better.

One bad feature: The 'amplifier on' light is annoyingly bright. I had to mask it with a small piece of paper.
