It's easy to install, out of the box, plug in power, and plug in a coax line to your TV. Works great and picks up all my local channels no program. I cut the cord (DirectTV) a long time ago and still have that cable networking in my house. I discovered that I could connect this antenna to the power source box (which has a coax input connector) for the old DirectTV equipment. This allowed me to use one antenna to give decent signal to 4 TV's. CON: You may lose some signal during heavy rain, but that's no different that DirectTV.

I have a large antenna in the attic but wanted more channels. I purchased this inexpensive antenna and when I ran a channel scan I picked up more channels than I was picking up on the attic antenna. I have two of these now and am very pleased with both.

I cut my cable cord several years ago and had been just streaming Netflix and decided to purchase this so I could get local programming. I didn’t expect to get much from it as far as channels but was pleasantly surprised to get over 17 channels that are clear, which is way more than I had gotten with a much more expensive leaf model. It was easy to set up and maneuver and the price is great. I ended up purchasing a second one for another room. I would recommend this antennae to anyone looking for a broadcast antenna

I had tried two other inside antennas and was ready to give up. The RCA gave such a great signal I couldn't tell the difference in picture quality with cable. If an internal antenna will work at all for you, try this one first.

This product is perfect for people who want to kick the cable but still want to watch free basic network tv stations. For $50 you get a plug and play antenna that picks up the major network stations (fox, cbs, nbc, abc, etc.) and displays them in HD. Sunday football looks exactly the same using this antenna as it did when I had cable. In the Washington, DC area you you can also view about 20 other channels including PBS, BBC, and Ion. Not all channels are viewable in HD and the weather and proximity of the antenna to a window makes a huge difference in the tv reception. Still, for a $50 buy in you can save hundreds a year not paying for cable and still get basic television (including national sporting events in HD).

This is my second purchase of this antenna. First one 2 years old and works better than my friends outside unit. Bought this new one for a new TV in the bedroom, works like the first one. ABC is a weak signal here but not a problem with this antenna.

I like the antenna as it looks sleaker and less intrusive than my old RCA rabbit ears, but my reception is not much better than with the old bunny ears for double the price. If you don't want on old school antenna sticking out, and still want an over the air signal, this is a good option for you.

Love not paying for cable, but this can be spotty. Works well for the most part but occasionally have to readjust. It all depends on your location to nearest tower and obstructions. Evaluate your place if this is appropriate item for you. Usually have to have near a window and higher up the better.

We have discontinue Direct TV due to the cost. We decided to try rabbit ears. We had one for one of our tvs and decided to try for another one. We are able to pick up a fair amount of channels, so we are pretty happy with this product.

I decided to cut my cable and use local TV signals. Works pretty good, but numerous trees around my house made the signal fade in and out. I have another one on a TV upstairs and further away from the tree and the signal is better. Works better than the flat antenna you see advertised on TV & other media

Pick up a ton of stations within about 30 miles. I bougt this to get stations about 25 miles away from me not in my DIRECTV package for the local football games they offer and while the picture can get slightly fuzzy at times it's ultra clear when coming in well as it's not compressed like cable and directv pretty easy to use and easy to set up gets more local channels extremely well not great probably beyond aboutb30 miles

Easy set up. From the moment I hooked it up a crystal clear like cable picture before I even adjusted the antennae. Now with 18 local channels and Apple TV, no more cable bill to pay.

They explain different antennas especially 'cause I wanted to buy a more expensive. They directed me to RCA and also advised buy an amplified. Easy to set up. Scan channels. Works great. I get about 30 channels. May be more. Signal is good. Picture is great. And no extra cost for TV.

Great product gets more channels than my flat antenna. The only disadvantage is I’m not a fan of the ac adapter. Tried to use it without adapter when antenna was on HD mode and tv wouldn’t get any channels, didn’t try using it in different mode. Also ac cord not long enough.

Since I bought a Roku TV, and did not have any local stations, I wanted to purchase an antenna so that I could view the news, Judge Judy, and other programs that I viewed when I had cable

I found that the newer the TV you scan for reception is drastically increased the newer the TV and its onboard tuner. On an older TV it found about 30 channels and with a 1-year old TV it found 60 channels. I strongly recommend that one always buys an antenna with a booster.

This antenna is bulky and large, but I get a lot more OTA channels than other indoor antennas I tried. It's a combination of the rabbit ears and flat panel and it's powered for stronger signal strength. The rabbit ears expand out far and you move it to different directions. The signal strength I get where I'm at is very good as well. I watch a lot of PBS and Create, and previously with other antennas I would get maybe 2-3 bars strength and it would sometimes get pix-elated. With this antenna, I get the full 5 bars and very clear!! Local channels are also very clear! I even pic up channels that I have not seen before on previous antennas. I would recommend if you have space and it's something you must have. It's a little bit of an eye sore because of it's size, but worth it for me.

has good reception on local strong signals. The area I used this has only one local transmitter so I receive just one channel, but very clearly. Other transmitters are 50 miles or more away and not able to receive signal. If you need this and live in a strong metro area, it should work great.
