Problem solved when the power is out

RCA Indoor Dipole/Plate HDTV Antenna

I live in Houston, just 1 mile outside of the I-610 Loop. I am close enough to the center of the city, that it should be able to pick up all stations. However, that is not the case. I have had to scan the TV repeatedly to pickup stations. The description stated that this could pick up signals, I believe, within 25 miles. This is not the case.
