better live next to the TV station

This antenna was rated for 40 miles. Seemed like a safe bet. It didn't work at all. Tried several locations in the house, even stuck it in the window. Maybe if you lived next to the TV station, it would work, but for us it was a piece of junk. Returned it.

The antenna worked just fine, but did not provide any better reception than my old antenna. Also, the requirement to download an app to figure out directional placement for better reception was a bit cumbersome.
