Better than the flat antennas

Not good for folks on hills

You can get a list of the closest broadcasting towers from this site: http://www.rcaantennas.net/channels/ So if you are not exactly in line of sight from the closest tower or have obstructions, it would be best to go with an outdoor antenna instead.

I have a non-amplified one and it grabs about the same amount of channels when placed right. I thought I wouldn't have to worry about placement so much with it being amplified and the positionable antennas, but I was wrong.
