    Recently switched from cable to direct tv and needed an antenna to use during occasional signal loss due to bad weather. In our area, I at least can get 3 out of the four major networks. I would not want to depend on this for perm. use, but for occasional short term use it works fine.

    I chose this product because it was supposed to receive a signal well beyond my home. The antenna would not pick up any channels clearly. It would pick up for a moment and then cut out again. All day, every day. I returned it to Best Buy.
