Changing to over-the-air from cable and satellite is a tough decision. You wonder what you will ever be able to see. And after years of cable and satellite clarity of reception, you hark back to those years of static and poor quality of picture. This little model looks chicer and sleeker than the old rabbit-ear sets of yesteryear and was a breeze to set up with my smart tv. This and a couple subscriptions give me an extensive amount to watch in HD, and saves us over $100 monthly. Yay, technology! You've come a long way.

We ended up putting this antenna outside and it has done tremendously better. Its has been rained on and even has been thru freezing rain and STILL has been great.

This antenna only picks up signals from about 40 miles away. I found with two antennas attached to a splitter, the reception is improved greatly. I am now able to pick up 38 channels from broadcast antennas about 50 miles away; Albuquerque to Santa Fe.

Performing well and I get many stations with it, no need for cable anymore!

I got 13 channels (maybe unique for me) immediate after connecting this antenna. Does the job if you want basic channels without get satellite dish or cable. Easy to hook up. Satisfied with clarity and strength of reception. Worth the money.

Over the air antennas are not going to necessarily work on your setup. I tried the cheaper model of this RCA antenna but it didn’t help my reception. The next model in price is this dipole model with amp. This one nailed it. We all have different access to the TV antennae and there is no rule of thumb that fits all. I live in a brick building just down the street from the towers. My setup is great. I would only ding it for having a short cable. Ask your Best Buy if the have any open boxes and try several if need be.

I bought this for an elderly friend to help her break the cable habit. She is about 25 -30 miles from the antenna array. This worked better than many others I've tried and she got more channels than I expected.

This is a great antenna that lets you get all available local channels.

My wife and I decided to do Sling TV instead of cable. SInce we don't live in a major market we purchased this antenna to get local channels. The antenna was easy to setup and has worked great. No complaints with this product.

I live too far from the XMTR location so my signal is spotty. Sometimes I can receive 7 stations and other times none. This isn't any fault of the antenna though. If you live in the fringe as I do, you can't expect much from any HDTV antenna but if you are in range you will have excellent results.

I live 35 miles from the nearest tv station and pick up all networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, PBS and TCT). Sometimes 2 different stations of the same network.
