This device was supposed to have active gain. As an electrical engineer I know what that means and this things isn't doing it very well. No improvement over my passive rabbit ears.

I bought this RCA HDTV antenna to use in a small room in the second floor of my house in St. Paul. The antenna is about 4 feet from an outdoor wall and window, and it works perfectly. We didn't have to adjust it much. It sits on a shelf among some framed pictures and looks fine.

I wanted to cancel cable and use these receivers instead, but they didn't work. We even bought four. The sales man showed us how to hook them up, but no signal. We called the RCA number and the representative walked us through, but still no signal. We were disappointed! And also disappointed that Best Buy only gave us store credit because they said it was past 15 days. That shouldn't matter. Bad policy.

Bought this to get all the local channels and it’s only powerful enough to get 2. Unless you live close to the broadcast antennae go with a stronger version.

Overall the model worked well however it is not wall mountable and I found it challenging to position in an optimal spot in my home. Would recommend if you can find a good position by sitting on a table/counter/etc... only.

This is way better than the non-amplified antenna I tried first.

Not worth the extra few dollars. I don't like having to provide electricity for it and plug it into the wall. The booster doesn't impress! Weird base shape that won't stand up on short shelves. Plan to return and keep it simple.

Picks up the stations very well. I am happy with the product.

kept freezing the picture and going black not very good reception tried it on another tv worked a bit better but same thing occurred. so I returned it... wished it worked I would have kept it

Good steady stream .good for the price cord needs to be longer

Could not get any reception. Not necessarily the products fault but the location I was in was too far away from town and available network antennas....was worth a try with the amplifier.
