If you walk in a certain place in the room, a plane or helicopter flys over, the picture breaks up and/or freezes for a few seconds. I'm not sure if that's average or not. I'm used to cable. #1st time antenna user

No Cable, No Problem

This HDTV antenna gives us nearly 40 channels with great picture quality. It is saving us over $100/ month!

It was easy to install and did not require attachment to the wall. It receives most of the local stations I was getting with basic cable. There is occasional interference which can usually be corrected by moving the unit slightly in another direction.

Try to put it out of the way of traffic (people walking across the TV). I have mine set up in a smaller living room, and when my roommate passes by, it distorts the picture. Aside from that, excellent quality with about 63 channels free of charge. Not a great deal of HD channels (maybe 5), but did I mention they are free? sure they are not HBO or Skin-a-max, but it does the job for local channels and networks like ABC/NBC/Fox/CW 18 (picks all up in HD). Add a smart-function option like a roku/ps3 (or insert other console here) and who really needs cable? Which is the point of having this thing. Enjoy.
