Decent antenna, but not that strong

I didn't realize "amplified" means "must be plugged in to electrical outlet", and there wasn't one near where I intended to use it, so I returned it and purchased one that wasn't "amplified". I don't intend to give a bad review, but since I can't submit without filling the "Overall Rating", and I can't give it a good or excellent rating, you leave me no choice but to "pan" the item.

Not good for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This antenna may be ok if you live close to where the signals are being broadcast from, but the 40+ mile range stated on the box is BS. I live about 35 miles from the local broadcast stations and can only get two channels that pick up at all in good weather, and the picture pixels are constantly broken up and distorted. I bought this bundled with an Amazon Fire TV box which I like, so I will not return to store, but I will have to purchase a better quality antenna.
