Live in Chicago suburbs and can only get 2 or maybe 3 stations. I've moved it all around even putting on top of closet doors for maximum reception. Next is aluminum foil. Not much luck. Some days it might work....most days it does not.

This antenna system simply does not work very well. It is very limited in range and does not hold "discovered" tv stations stable. Unfortunately the packing materials for this purchase were discarded; otherwise I would return it to BB.

I was not impressed with this antenna at all. First of all it needs to smaller and secondly it had to be placed so high up that it was an eyesore. The amount of stations I was able to receive was unimpressive as well. So I returned it.

CBS didn't come in at all. The other local stations faded out consistently. The picture was worse than the sound. Sometimes moving the antenna would improve reception but most of the time once reception failed it was gone.

Didn't get good reception. Attempted to return or trade and I was told NO to both. Not happy with product but certainly not happy with Best Buy. Will never go back. Can't believe you choose to loose customers over a mere $30

This may work better for others, but it did not pick up channels for my Samsung tv. I returned to the store.

I bought this hopig to get some over the air chennels and maybe a few in HD. It would not pick a signal atball. I was limited in the direction i was ro receive a signal but was surprised that there was nothing available.

This item does not reach 40 miles. I got one station. Thankfully return was not a problem. If you live in the city and the broadcast towers are less than a mile or two away, maybe this will work. Otherwise, do not bother.

I tried several different locations and antenna angles, and couldn’t get decent reception. I ended up returning this to the store. The poor reception was probably due to the trees around the house.

Even though the range on this antenna said 40 miles and I was 25 miles from a broadcast signal, when I mounted it on my TV I got no channels. I then mounted it on an antenna on top of my roof (30' high) and still got nothing.

cheaply made fell apart with little or no outside pressure did not live up to what it was claimed to have been able to do. Could not get extra tv channels if did very fuzzy worked only half the time

We could never get it to work. Tried on a basement television with no success. Maybe better on an upstairs television? Didn’t serve out purpose.

The BB salesperson suggested this antenna. It is bulky, and two "arms" move back and forth in only 1 direction. This was not as good as the flat options I have used in the past.

I am really not a big fan of tv. Thought this might add to my antenna channels. It didn’t help so I returned it. Not sure if having cable would have helped.

We returned this product because it did not work even when placed next to a window. Don't waste your money.

Tried on 2 tvs in different areas of the house...1 local channel found. I live 20 miles outside a major metro area...should have been able to find those channels...and I couldn't return because I brought it back too late.

WOW! A friend of mine told me about this indoor antenna so I purchased one a few weeks ago and I am amazed! The picture quality is way better than cable, and I get over 30 channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, to name a few) for free! There is even a local weather channel. I just dropped my cable company with a big smile, and will be saving A LOT of money from here on out. You can't go wrong with this indoor antenna.

I bought this in order to get the 4 major broadcast channels--ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX. Antenna never grabbed ABC even though I live in the middle of town. Took it back for a refund.

Wanting to eventually cut the cord, but this brought in no channels. It might work in a rural area, but realize I will need a strong outdoor antenna if I am going to get anything to work in the Dallas metro area.

Obviously, television reception is a function of local environment, and ours is particularly challenging. However, use of this product, even in amplified mode, provided no better reception than a standard antenna.
