i live in a two story studio home, i was concerned that living in Houston n.e. side and the digital towers are on the s.w. side basically opposite directions. i had a radio shack antenna that would give me 30 channels, 10 weak channels leaving me twenty channels to view. i bought this rca antenna and placed it on the second floor of the house and ran a cable to my tv downstairs...i hit auto search on the tv and i was shock to find 93 channels that was pulled in and only 5 channels that were to weak to view. maybe its due to the placement of the antenna that made the difference....i am way beyond pleased with this antenna.

I was forced to purchase an antenna as one of the local (free) stations would not renew their contract with DirecTV. Overall, I have to say that I am very impressed. Installation was easy - just connected the coax cable and plugged in the power cord. I used the auto channel setup on my Sony TV, and was surprised to see that it found 31 HD channels. And the best part is that every channel was as good as the HD signal from DirecTV. Highly recommend.

I am so pleased with this antenna! I live in a second story apartment in the city, and I was contemplating putting another cable box in my office/den. So I decided to give the digital antenna a try and to my surprise I have 20 channels that are crystal clear. WOW! This thing is great! I am planning on placing one in my bedroom just have something the catch the news on before I go to bed. Now I see why people are leaving cable and satellite. I am planning on trying the antenna at my parents house in the country to see how it works for them.

I receive excellent reception with this product! I'm able to to get just about every digital signal broadcast locally. Great buy!

best $30 antenna out if you have a new tv you will get every channel. if your tv is more than 2 yrs old dont expect to get abc. YOUR TV MATTERS!!

Excellent reception for local channels. If necessary, adjust the antenna. My husband and I recently moved to the South, and while our house is being built, we purchased a camper. We couldn't get more than 4 channels, using the antenna we had, so we purchased the RCA antenna, made some adjustment to the antenna on the camper, and now we get at least 20 channels that we did not have before. We love it. Thanks!

I live south of Port Huron, Michigan. This antenna only brought in one local channel on a regular basis. The Antenna needed to be pointed towards the southwest to bring in the local channel. This was no surprise, because that is the direction where the TV stations are located. Sometimes on a very clear day, the antenna would bring in three channels; however, two of them would pixelate and drop out often. I actually returned this antenna, because there was essentially no reason to own it as a result of bringing in only one channel.

I had bought this antenna because i no longer had cable. Despite of buying it simply for that reason it works ok. Depending on the signal the antenna receives it can give many channels, as for me it gave me 90.. its still something better than nothing. The antenna goes on platform it can't go hanging which was fine for me no big deal. It gets the job done.

With so many antennas to choose from in the store I was not sure which one to buy. I took a chance with this one sense it was only $25. I am glad I did! It is crystal clear HD on my local channels! I paired this with a Roku player and I am all set to cut the chord on satellite! Great product for the price.

I'm not going to trash this product just because it didn't work for us. I helped my daughter set up her grad school apartment in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The apartment is on the first floor of a building, and this antenna just didn't pull in enough signal to get even the local stations, and the ones it did pick up pixelated and froze whenever a train went by. There isn't enough cord on the antenna for us to get it close to a window, which might have helped. We exchanged it for a 50 mile amplified antenna, and that worked much better. This antenna might work for you, depending on your location, your position within a building, and TV placement. I'm cheap by nature, so I bought this one to see if it would work for me. It didn't, so I exchanged for a slightly more expensive one that did. If you have the patience, that's what I would recommend. Also, understand that antenna placement (and moving the little rabbit ear like things) might make a difference, so you have to be willing to fiddle with it a bit.

This antenna works fine. I don't get as many channels as I hoped for, but it's good enough. And the price was good.

This RCA - Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna was a perfect solution dealing with the cable company. I have a home office and a business account for TV, Internet and Phone. I have coax jacks all over the house. I wanted to add a TV in the bedroom and called my provider to order a simple cable box. If you are a residential customer they will send to you free shipping and then charge a fee per month. Being a business account, they insist on sending a tech out for $99 to do an idiot proof 5 minute installation. That got me looking for an altternative. This RCA - Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna did the trick. A 5 minute install, searched for and found 53 channels...more than I need. Easy deal. It works so well, easy to set up and low cost...I am considering buying another and canceling my cable TV service.

This product picked up almost all the channels that were that were within the range of this antenna. If you have a station that is listed within range but closer to the maximum range, I would consider getting a stronger antenna. This antenna still works properly and was a good price.

This device does work however it takes take time to get it to work properly. The antenna did not work when placed behind my tv, but does work when it is on the floor. It took multiple autoscans and to get all known local channels, but still have to switch frequencies. Disclaimer this device works like old bunny ears as you may need to adjust to get that particular channel you want to watch. Be patient is the best thing I can suggest.

I live in the Terre Haute area where it is very hard to pick up the VHF channels for CBS and Fox. I tried multiple antennas with no luck picking them up till I tried this antenna. I was able to pick up all the major channels and a few more for a total of 11 channels. I had to move the antenna around a bit to find the perfect spot to get these channels but once I found a good spot all the channels have been coming in clearly. The only downside to this antenna is the 2 dipoles are extremely flimsy and break easily. This is something that really needs to be corrected. Overall I would recommend this antenna to anyone in the Terre Haute area.

This is an AMAZING antenna that does what the more expensive multi-directional ones can't. To start, you need to know something about the channels in your local area. Depending on the broadcaster, they may use low VHF, VHF, or UHF (most common). Many of the indoor multi-directional antennas can get great UHF signals, but can't pick up either form of VHF. I had purchased the multi-directional TERK antenna (model MTVGLS $79.99) and it couldn't pick up low VHF or VHF signals. This RCA antenna picked up more channels than the TERK at less than half the price. The secret are the extending rabbit ears. They allow it to pick up low VHF and VHF, while the panel picks up UHF. I now get all 4 major broadcast networks in my area so that I can watch college football :) Also, the channels are all in HD (1080p I think) so they look amazing on my 4k TV.

My previous antenna had me adjusting it every time I changed the channel. I couldn't see my favorite channel sometimes. This one is far different. I never have to adjust it. I can clearly see all of the channels viewable with an antenna.

This is very simple to set up and works very well. This will give HD channels to you based on the local stations in your area. The range is up to 45 miles away but obviously other factors can limit your connection.

This antenna worked right away when plugged in to tv. Highly recommend. Channels are in HD and easily adjustable antennas for better quality.
