I decided to get rid of my Dish service, and went Roku and antenna. This antenna gets my local channels, but I have occasional disruptions. Is it the antenna or my location? Who knows. All the more I use it, it's well worth the inconvenience for the money saved over a monthly contract bill with a cable or dish provider.

So I have two of these and depending where you put them they're great. The one is placed on the south side of the house in the basement. Even though it's in the basement, it's on a shelf by a window and it picks up EVERYTHING. However, on the 3rd floor I bought another one for the bedroom. No ability to wall mount so I had to place it on the window sill. Now, this one is facing North, but it really doesn't pick up anything my regular non-powered antenna picks up. Overall? Location matters. If you have a good place to put it give it a try. Otherwise you may be fine with the non-powered, flat variant.

this antenna is slightly better than the onewe had on the tv previously( we call it the bat wing). we live in a brick house so i think that affects it more than anything. i live in a suburb area

My old antenna was failing as the number of over-the-air channels was failing falling under 100. With the new Amplified Digital Indoor Antenna ANT-1275F, I now get 174 digital channels + 1 analog channels = 175 channels for FREE w/ no basic cable TV service!

Local TV stations for free. Replaced cable TV service.

No concerns or problems. Works like it should. Bought it for my daughter to get a better signal signal at her house. She has had to reposition a few times for lost signal but overall likes it

Was looking for an antenna that would get good reception for a spare bedroom t v, at a reasonable price. This one works good, and easy to install.

Works very well and is still economical on the budget.

it is nicely made but need to get one stronger than this one because living to far from towers for reception. Although it does give a clear nice pictures on the few channels i can get...the price is right also... like how it has rubber on bottom will not slide around. you can move the two antennas in many directions .....

I have to say this works better then I thought it was going to. I am getting a lot of channels with it. I think it would fit in the window but I haven't even tried. It doesn't look horrible sitting where it is..lol but definitely cutting the cable companies

We decided to drop cable but live in a low-lying area and have terrible TV reception. This antenna was recommended by one of the sales associates and it works great! Much better than the first one I tried.

Make sure to periodically scan your channels and you will pick up additional channels. I started off with about 10 channels and as of the last scan I had 38 channels. I've purchased 2 for my guest rooms and plan to buy one for the basement.

Great product. It works fine. I myself don't watch TV; I purchased it for a family member. That being said I know nothing about TV antennas. I will say that it was a simple setup and instructions were legible. That's it, no worries, no problems, satisfied.

Able to retrieve digital stations from around the area. Got more than the old antenna I had. Was gotten as gift for family member in a rural area near Twin Cities. Doesn't take up a lot of space

First let me say that I have used this brand of digital antennas for my TV's for close to a year. The antennas have saved me a lot of money and I have grown accustomed to not having cable. When I went to buy mine I took the advise of the salesclerk and purchased the higher rated more expensive ones. Glad that I did. RARELY do I have any problems with mine (only with one channel when a bad storm moves in or heavy fog). This particular one that I am writing the review on , I bought online and had shipped to my daughters home. I was hesitant because of the price and the fact that it did not look as "updated" as mine. I bought the same brand as mine, but a less expensive antenna. She lives within 20 miles of all major television stations in her area and this does not pick up any of them. We scanned and scanned. Nothing. Believe me, we tried every wall in the room as far as moving the antenna to face windows. I live with approx. 50 miles from the local stations and can get all of them perfectly clear. My advise - the brand is fine as long as you go for a more advanced antenna. The ones in my home, I paid about $25 more per antenna than this one. Sometimes you get what you pay for and this was the case in my situation.

The Best Buy employee recommended this and I am glad he did. I am in a mountainous area and didn't think the reception would be good, but I was happily surprised. The antenna is effected by weather, location and other interferences but for $30 I am able to watch all the free TV channels that the cable company was charging me for. With antennas you may have to try different ones and make several adjustments until you have setup the way you want it, but its worth it in the end if you are not a heavy TV watcher. This antenna is great, looks good and its small.
