Easy to connect and get up and running. It scanned in 53 channels for my.local area. Most of the stations broadcast from 25-35 miles away. The signal is adequate for the most part but it does skip when people are moving in the room. It also pixelates for no reason. I gave it 4 stars because I can't quite get it close enough to the window and I'm thinking that may make a big difference. Really not bad for the money.

This antenna sits on the table and doesn't take up much space. It works very well and is not expensive. It looks nice too.

Works pretty well. It does take up space with the base and also the actual antenna 'ears'. I have it behind my flat screen and it actually blocks the signal. Being that my tv stand is on an inside wall and not against an outside wall, I need to extend the antenna out from behind tv to receive better signal. The amplified action does help but I would like to like to have a smaller style antenna or move my stand. If your set up is correct, this antenna works very well. I would recommend it with proper stand orientation.

I was looking for something for a spare bedroom so this was fairly inexpensive and works really well, I wasn't worried about distance and was impressed with the channels I get.

I purchased this antenna for my parents. It was very easy to install. Image on tv is very clear. Size is perfect also.

This receiver is pretty decent but it loses signal easily before it comes back. Pretty decent amount of local channels when the weather is good. Not a bad product at all.

Seems solidly built. Pulls in all the available channels really well. I don't have to get up & mess with it. A good product for the price & I didn't have to climb up on my roof to install it. I didn't rate durability as I just got it a couple of months ago but as I said ;so far so good.

I purchased this antenna to pick up what I assumed would be a limited amount of channels after I decided to terminate my cable account. I expected to get, at most, like 20 channels. Instead, this deceptively powerful antenna gets a whopping 60 channels. Admittedly most of these channels are those that I'll consciously watch, but for the ones I do, this antenna brings the images in perfectly. Finding the proper place for the antenna is key, so make sure you have space that is preferably off any metallic surface and with an unobstructed LOS to the sky. Once you do, connect this to your TV, run your scan, and enjoy.

I purchased this antenna as a temporary solution after I moved to a new place. It found all the major networks and some other local programming channels. The picture was very sharp, but small appliances interfered with reception. You also have to adjust the antenna when changing channels to get the best signals. It served its purpose, but I would be happy with it for a permanent antenna.

I brought this antenna home to use with the new tv I had just bought. It was easy to set up and the reception is good.

Since cutting the cable cord in our house we've been fairly happy; however, there are a few shows that my wife regularly misses out on (*cough*Scandal*cough*). I'd hoped that this antenna would solve that issue. Unfortunately, even a great antenna can't catch what isn't there. We can clearly receive quite a few other channels, however, and they come in crystal clear. Fair warning -- the signals can be blocked by heavy rain, but that seems to be a more general problem.

So far so good! The RCA antenna gets 45 channels which are clear and nice. Very infrequently do I have to adjust the antenna to get the broadcast from breaking up or stopping. The antenna is attractive and does not occupy a lot of space. Finally, it is easy to install and view.

This antenna works quite well. I have it in an upstairs room, on the far side of the house from the direction of the closest tower. I had no problems setting it up on a Samsung 32" LED tv. Clear picture and sound. It does take up a LOT of space when the antennaes are extended and spread but I found that not to be necessary for my area. My only disappointment was that it doesn't work if not plugged in (ergo, amplified.) I'd keep kids or pets away from it as it tips easliy.

Very Simple to set up. I was able to pickup about 20 channels easy. The only CON for me is that the Coax cable is not removable and is kind of flimsy.

I recently decided to cut the cable and was in the market for an antenna. I went into best buy with out knowing a lot about them. The sales person recommended getting an amplified one and recommended the RCA as the best one for the price. Simple to hook up and works great. I use this in a room where the tv is away from any windows and get many channels. Works great for me!

We finally got a digital converter so we can watch regular tv programming again and we needed a new antenna. We moved it up into the attic where it is out of sight and it picks up at least 60 channels which is good for our area in Bucks County PA. Some times if the weather is bad the picture gets pixelated but for the most part it's nice and clear. It was easy to install as well.

I bought this unit for a third set in our townhome and did not want to pay for an additional cable connection. The combination of this powered indoor antenna and an Apple TV fulfills 90% of our needs for an additional set. Setup using this antenna is straightforward. An early model HDTV Sony scanned the channels quickly, and the reception is excellent. The only caution on this or any non-fixed indoor antenna is that moving its position can produce digital blocking or loss of the signal entirely. That’s not a criticism of this product. It’s true of any indoor antenna set up to receive digital channels. Set it up and forget it. If you have to move it, you may have to rescan. This is a great unit at a very reasonable price.

just cut the cord. Antennae is working well for all the local channels. Occasional fade but very short time. Will start hulu soon.

A great price. Easy to hook up. Works great. Blends right in with tv so don't notice it sitting there.
