Bought this and a tv for my daughter when she moved away. She lives in a town where the transmitters are close so this works for her in an apartment and helps the budget to not have a cable bill. If you live far from the transmitters you will need an outdoor antenna.

We decided a few years back that we didn't want to pay for TV anymore. When the Olympics came on this year, we really wanted to watch but couldn't watch online without a paid subscription to some cable network. So we bought this digital antenna. Works great to get the local channels! Totally worth the price.

Living "out in the country" this antenna works well! Comes in clearer than our Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime that work off internet and are constantly buffering. It's nice to be able to watch the news in real time again! Only downfall is the you have to get up and adjust the antenna every once in awhile.

I set this and I do not adjust it at all. I am able to watch my local channels.

if you're cheap like i am and want to cut the cable, then get this inexpensive indoor antenna, it's a can't miss... if you initially get poor reception, try to get it close as possible to the window.. 15+ Channels vs. 5 or so close to the TV

This antenna worked great for picking up HD TV signals on a sail boat about a mile off the coast. A great antenna!

I can pickup 20 channels near a window. Lost a few in the middle of the house.

Works well overall. When it gets windy the signal goes in and out.

I get most local HD with minor hick ups. The built in amp is strong enough to not having to pay for cable anymore!

I am happy to be a cord cutter and love the antennae when it works, however, the signal is sometimes too weak and yet I am in direct sight of the TV towers on a nearby mountain. I don't know if a more expensive one would make any difference, since it seems that you pay for more distance with more money.

Nice antenna with the option to pull out just like the old ones. works well, good reception I get almost all the channels available in my are. but requires detailed adjusting in the direction of the signal. i prefer these over the slim ones because of flexibility to change the direction

No regrets with this purchase. Very clear video. I highly recommend to anyone who is watching a tv without cable.

if you want to cut the cord and need a simple antenna to get HDTV for free over the air then this will work. This works best if you are near tv towers (within 30 miles) if you live out in the country or away from tv towers then I would recommend you get a stronger antenna

Poor product for the price. Rabbit ears were tight /frozen, one of them broke. I returned antenna to RCA. After "REPAIRING" antenna, the rabbit ear could not stay in position, it constantly fell and broke at the base. Having to purchase a replacement antenna. I don't plan on purchasing any other RCA products.
