    Good Antenna for the price

This antenna is good for what it is designed for. I should have bought the next one up for distant channels. For channels 40 to 50 miles away it works fine.

Works well at my house (in a metro area) but not as great at my cabin (in a rural area). Some adjustment needed to get the best picture.

This antenna is ok for the price. Although the ears of the antenna is a little awkward it works pretty well for price.

for 35.00, it was worth it and does the job. in the store area, there was a chart that showed distance from broadcast site, NYC for me, and i was within the 40 mile optimum range for the product. the regular networks come in perfectly, and you might need to adjust the rabbit ears for some others. i suggest you position it on a window ledge for best results, even if the window doesnt actually face the exact direction

I bought this item because I was having company over and my cable tv had not been installed yet. I mainly got this item because it had a good price point. I am very pleased with the functionality of it. I still get a little pixelation here and there, but that is expected when dealing with Over The Air broadcasts. Excellent Picture Quality...

I purchased a number of antennas to test and found this to work best in getting the most channels with ease. I recommend this one over the non amplified version and the flat plastic RCA models. Brings in all main channels and lots more. Couple this with hulu or netflix and save yourself the cost of cable.

This was really easy to set up and get most nearby channels. Not clear sometimes and one channel never comes through.

I wanted to see if I could cut the TV cable cord and get reception with an antenna. I admit I wanted it to be a cheap project so I purchased this antenna as it was the price range I was wanting. I live in Houston so I am not far from station towers so I am able to pickup network stations however it took a lot of adjusting to get the antenna to pickup all stations from one single position. Good for the price.

Great antennae for country living, if you do not want or have satellite. Wonderful reception for my HDTV, and I get quite a few channels. Had bought an antennae from walmart for twice as much and only got one channel. Love this antennae and will buy 3 more for the other tv's in the house. Thanks RCA for making this marvelous and easy to setup antennae for people living in the country, I'm about 30 miles outside the city.

This is much better than paying for cable. I receive more channels then I did with cable, and it only cost for the electricity. The only problem with this antenna is that sometimes you need to move the antenna around a little to get good reception on some channels that don't come in clear. Our neighborhood doesn't receive good reception at all, with this antenna is came in better than cable using a HDMI TV. A Best Buys employee suggested I should buy this antenna. I am so please with his recommendation.

    Problematic

Let me begin by saying I have a 50'' plasma Samsung flat screen. The installation and set up were fairly straightforward and routine for anyone familiar with old style "bunny ears." The difference here is that you have to also plug this item into an electrical socket. My problem was that my TV is in a recessed area of the living room surrounded by three windows (which one might think would be a good thing) on a tv stand. After trying to get signal on the stand behind the tv itself, then in each window (in various orientations in each window), I was only able to receive signal directly above the tv, holding it approximately 4 inches above the screen in the center. When the picture did come in while holding it in mid-air above the tv, the image was crisp, clear, and HD. However the moment I sat it down anywhere, all signal was lost. For my situation, it obviously wasn't practical.

I tried using the cheaper basic bunny ears model but that did not work. I fired this one up instead and it works as advertised. The amplifier was able to get me all of my local channels. It is set up across the room away from all windows and still works. Base model might work for some especially if you can set up near a window. Worth a try at least. Easy return and exchange at store if it does not work.

We had no cable for a long time after hurricane Irma and decided going back to the basics couldn’t hurt. Well it did the job! And didn’t break the bank either! It wasn’t perfect all the time but I don’t know if it was something we were doing wrong. Also recommend this option if you have an extra tv that doesn’t have a cable box. We received most basic local channels. A fair variety to choose from (too many Spanish ones for my liking). Overall recommend product.

It is easy to install, I get the three main stations, ABC, NBC and CBS plus PBS and PBS plus, PBS kids which I don't need and a few others which I rarely view. Reception is very good. It takes up very little space and when the TV is not in use I can hide the antenna if I wish by telescoping it.

Just as promised in store, this antenna connected very easily to the TV and started working right away. I had to rescan the TV to pick up the channels I wanted to receive but once I did that all of the available channels came in and stayed connected even after I moved the TV and antenna to a different room. Well worth the money and it dud night need to go near a window to get reception either.

Picks up the surrounding area's basic channels, but has to be shifted to pick up many of them for a better signal.
