We did not receive all the channels that we thought we would get. The HD channels looked nice, but the others were pretty bad. It ended up causing a problem with our sound system. Our sound system went into “protect” mode. It only happened while using the antenna, so we stopped using the antenna.

Mountains > Scan Channels First

FYI > I live in the Mountains so maybe that's why it took so long as instructions mentioned! Again, say you live in the Mountains I suggest plug in, scan channels and YES your on!!

I purchased the item to view local channels without cable or satellite. Disappointed.

Posted .Hello Marie – Proper placement of the antenna is key: position the antenna as high as possible, ideally in or near a window facing the broadcast towers, and fully uncoil the cable. Then run a Channel Scan/Auto Program so the TV updates its channel list based on the new location. Different stations use different frequencies and power levels, so indoor reception/performance can vary. Items such as your surrounding terrain, the construction materials used in building your dwelling, or nearby electronics like wifi routers can affect the incoming broadcast signals inside your home. When I bought this item, it did boost the signal, but the image still came out fuzzy and worse than how we originally had it. I try to buy this for my grandma and she told me her cheap antenna did a better job than this one
