Not very good if you are far from the stations. I could only get like 15 channels at my location, and not even the one I wanted. I did put it in a window to get the best result. I live in the third floor, so it was high up.

Hi Hannah – Reception can definitely vary depending on distance from the broadcast towers, but also due to other factors like signal interference, obstructions, and even the specific channels available in your area. You did the right thing placing the antenna in a window and on a higher floor—that usually helps significantly. Sometimes in large buildings the Low-E coating on the window can also reduce the strength of the incoming broadcast signals. If you haven’t already, make sure to perform a fresh channel scan each time you reposition the antenna, as it’s essential for picking up all available signals. You can also check the available channels and signal strengths in your exact area by visiting the FCC’s tool at https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps. The antenna works very well. It brings in all the local channels I was hoping it would. It does not lose its signal.

I like the additional channels you pick up from the antenna and no monthly fees. Even though most are old school it’s delightful seeing them again.

Felt flimsy. Could not connect to anything but QVC no matter where I was in the house even though on tower maps I should have been in range other public television networks. Bought it to watch the news so did not work for what I wanted.

Felix, reception can vary greatly depending on your distance from broadcast towers, local terrain, building materials, and potential sources of interference. The signal available at your location is the most important factor for any antenna. For best results, place the antenna as high as possible, ideally near a window facing the broadcast towers, and uncoil any excess antenna cable. Always rescan for channels after moving or adjusting the antenna. No antenna can receive channels that aren’t available in your area, and external factors can impact signal quality. Meh--it's ok for being in Brentwood for Nashville TV OTA. We live in a subtle "valley" in our neighborhood where the cell phone have problems reach us. I'd expect better but it does OK for where we are.

I purchased this to pick WSET ABC 13 LYNCHBURG VA CHANNEL on my tv. Unfortunately it does not!!! I did not return it, mainly because I didn't want to drive an hour back to Lynchburg to the Best Buy store. The only one I could get is NBC WXII 12, which does not tell much about Danville, VA
