If it's raining outside, it doesn't work well at all. I live less than 30 miles from where all the TV towers are.

Posted .Hello - There are also several other factors that can affect your ability to receive the broadcast signal at your specific location. Each antenna installation location is 100% unique and typically presents its own set of unique challenges. Objects such as tree foliage, building construction type and materials, metal roofing materials and the physical terrain (mountains & hills) of the land all play significant roles and may severely block the incoming signals at your specific location. If using an indoor antenna, aluminum or steel siding, metal lathe used under older plaster walls, and metal mesh under exterior stucco all can also impact the incoming broadcast signals. When looking at signal strength ratings online, keep in mind that those signal strength ratings are taken at a height of about 30 feet with zero obstructions. As no two antenna installations are 100% identical, reception seemingly always varies from neighbor to neighbor and even from room-to-room even within the same house. Also Mileage ratings placed on antenna packaging are merely provided as a general guide to antenna performance and those ratings can vary substantially based on all of the above mentioned items that affect broadcast signals.

spotty reception

Got most of the channels in one spot, but had to move it around to a different location to get other channels. And then some of those from the other spot got lost. I'm assuming the problem is I live on the first floor of a 4-unit apartment next to a taller apartment building. The antenna is for a bedroom in the back of the apartment. Also weather in the time of day affects reception. I may end up splitting the roof antenna, running it into the bedroom. I tried several different antennas. All have problems. You have to be very careful and patient to use an indoor antenna.

Excellent picture reception

Like the options and does work well on my 70" Vizio Smart. Recommend keep antenna as close to a window or door for best reception

Great Solution for Chord Cutters

Just make sure you test your signal strength in your home, and move the antenna around until you find the perfect location. I am still able to watch NFL on fox in full HD..

Best Antenna I’ve Ever Had!

It has a long enough cord to reach a nice length of a distance. There’s even an area on the top back where you can hang the antenna up on a wall. Would highly recommend this antenna.

Not a good channel selection for my location

I had a choice of 3 different towers, but unfortunately I was not able to use this. I returned for a credit and the store was very accommodating when I told them the problem.

Other local channels came in reasonably well but were not consistently reliable. Probably too much interference for this antenna.
