No good

I live 10 miles from our ABC affiliate and about 30 miles from NBC, FOX, and CBS affiliates. The 60 mile rating is false. Spent over an hour moving the antenna around and reprogramming. It occasionally picked up ABC, but never held it steady.

Signal strength ratings are measured at a height of 30 feet with clear line-of-sight to the towers and no obstructions. Indoor antennas do often face challenges like signal blockage from your surrounding terrain, buildings or nearby homes, and even the construction materials used to build your home.
Positioning the antenna near a window facing the towers and ensuring the cable is fully uncoiled can also enhance performance. Terrible Reception

The reception was poor and very few channels were available to watch. This is not worth the money. I tried to return it, but was denied because I barely went past the 14 day window. The manager would not make an exception even though I recently had surgery during the return window and was not physically able to make the return at the time. Bad customer service.

Just another nice looking antenna

That being said, however it did not pick up many channels ( this is with placing it in multiple locations ). I took it back. My old (15 years ) Faded, worn out antenna picked up 50% more channels. So much for the new age designs.

Some other factors when it comes to selecting a proper antenna for your location include factors like the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the broadcast towers and even materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal indoors. In most instances, if you can place your antenna high up, near a window, facing the direction of your local broadcast towers you generally have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna. If you did not rescan for channels after relocating the antenna, any new and expected changes in channels/reception would not be accurate and would likely be much worse.
