As it mentioned, there are some locations where it is difficult to secure a watchable signal. Some other factors include things like the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the broadcast towers and even materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal indoors. If you can place your antenna high up, near a window, facing the direction of your local broadcast towers you may have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna. Hello Ralph - Window installation is generally considered superior for TV antennas, as it provides a clear line of sight to the broadcast towers and eliminates any physical barriers that may interfere with the incoming broadcast signals. Our antenna is designed to be versatile and easy to install in a variety of locations, but the signal strength at the exact location of the antenna within the interior of your home will dictate the channel availability.

Hi Jack – Due to the many variables that affect signal reception—such as location, terrain, distance from broadcast towers, and building materials—we don’t advertise a guaranteed number of channels. Every setup is truly unique.
One important step that’s often overlooked is performing a full channel scan on your TV after installing the antenna. This is necessary to detect all available stations and is outlined in both the Quick Start Guide and Owner’s Manual included in the box.
