Great design, Mostly Great Performance

The two antennas share different sides of the same wall - dividing the living room and bedroom. The bedroom antenna frequently struggles for a signal, no matter how much we fidget with positioning. However, I am satisfied with these purchases and would recommend the product.

RCA - Indoor Flat Amplified HDTV Antenna

We're on the first floor of an old apartment building surrounded by other apartment buildings. So we don't get very strong "over-the-air" signals. Yet the antenna works remarkably well.

This antenna did the trick with no problems. Easy to set up right out of the box. I would recommend this item! Worked so well I bought another for an outdoor tv!

I was quite apprehensive about how well it would work, but I am really impressed. I get the 3 main local stations which are important with my job. I get many other as well. I am very happy with this antenna! Great picture on my Samsung 65" series 8

Did not work on my TV

Posted .JakeMiran, the single most important factor in whether any indoor antenna can receive channels is the actual broadcast signal strength inside your home. If you’re far from the nearest broadcast towers, the signal may be too weak for any indoor antenna to detect. The instruction booklet and Quick Start Guide in the box also clearly explain the need to run a channel scan, and our team frequently helps customers who simply hadn’t completed that step—without a channel scan, no TV will ever display any channels.

Posted .If you didn’t receive any additional channels compared to your old antenna, that usually means the broadcast signal inside your home is already very weak. No antenna—amplified or otherwise—can pick up a signal that isn’t present, which is likely why your previous antenna also couldn’t detect those stations. Trees, nearby buildings, the terrain around your home, and even wall materials can all reduce indoor signal strength. For the best results, place the antenna as high as possible or near a window facing your local broadcast towers, fully uncoil the antenna cable, and run a new channel scan each time you adjust the placement of the antenna. If you do not run a new channel scan each and every time, no new channels will be detected in the antennas new location. You can also check what channels should realistically be available at your address at the FCC's website, but keep in mind those signal strength ratings are taken at a height of 30ft with zero obstructions. https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

Works best if placed at a window (You may will need an extension cable and connector if the nearest window is a few feet away).
